The most important element in having a competent, well rounded, knowledgeable security officer is the training they must endure. Lagarda Security realizes the importance of a well trained officer, and goes to great extent to ensure that their officers complete a comprehensive training course. This is one key to achieving a positive and conscientious attitude in an officer.
The instructors of these training courses have years of experience and specialized training. They use materials such as pamphlets, the Lagarda Security Training Manual, video tapes, and third party certifications. Our instructors teach approx. 20 different classes that are available to all security officers. There is also a training library available to assist future security officers. This library contains training videos, books, many different manuals, and many other resources that pertain to the security profession. The materials used in these courses are constantly being updated as to keep up with the newest technology in the security field.

Garret has a solid background in security and public safety industries, over 14 years. He is responsible for all aspects of Lagarda Security’s Employee Training Program. He started with Lagarda as a Security Officer and worked through the ranks to become our Lead Trainer. |

- Responsible for on-site training
- Insures proper training on Officers Daily & Incident Reports
- Experience working high profile accounts such as The Flint Housing Commission, Amy Jo Manor, Hartman & Tyner, Coca-Cola, Cadence/Venture Industries.
David has worked with Lagarda Security for over 8 years holding several different positions with the company from unarmed officer to his current position of Field Training Officer. David is responsible for all on-site training. |
